I found this strikingon photo on the Internet. It was shot between two of the movable bookshelves in a library.
Light Reflection
When ray of light encounters a boundary between two media (for example air and silver or aluminium that is a good electrical conductor), most all of the light is reflected. However, if the second object is an insulator, such as glass or transparent plastic, the light is transmitted.
Light is reflected from both shiny and dull surfaces. Reflection from a smooth, mirrorlike surface, such as a highly polished floor or a calm lake, results in a clear, will-defined image which is called specular reflection. If light reflection is from a rough surface, is referred to as diffuse reflection.
There are three video which experiment light reflection on different texture. These video lead me consider more about the light reflection on which kind of texture on my project.
