Logo design for our final show
I spent 2 hours to do these design, I want to emphasize this is “our” final show. it would be meaningful for every one in MA digital arts, so, to combine every one’s name togather is an interesting try.

The Groundplan of Final Show
Last week, I examined the results that projecting video onTranspartentScreen. However, the effect is not very good. the first problem is the screens that I chose are too thick, which only allow the video transmit through 2 or 3 layers. Furthermore, the colour of my video is too gray and blurry. I have to reedit it in high-contrast colour. In spite of these problem, I found the combination of several layers of screens is really interesting. I hope I can get big space in the final show, if so, alowing audience walk around the screens would be very playful. the groundplan of mt work in final show is as follow:
The beginning of Unit3
After the tutorial with Andy last week, I feel much clearer about how to continue my project. Last unit, I focused too much on video editing, and ignored the installation of final show. Additionally, after viewing the works of Ian and Alfonso, I found it is really important to make audience to “feel” work, but not only “see” work. Thus, how to build an active light environment is very important. In that tutorial, Andy gave me some very good suggestions, such as allowing audience to walk through the screens, and trying edit the physical material but not software which can build a physical light installation. Follow his suggests, I decided to use black paint martial to draw different geometry pattern on every single screen, and install them crossly. The prototype of final show may like this:
